Allspan is a very popular substrate among snake breeders, known as TierWohl (the manufacturer changed the product name in early 2020).

The substrate is intended for use in stables in horse boxes. However, its properties are also perfect for breeding other animals - many species of rodents and reptiles. The substrate is made of high-quality soft wood , which has been thoroughly dried, sifted and dusted several times, and thermally sterilized, which ensures excellent microbiological purity. The most important feature of the substrate is its high liquid absorption. Thanks to this, the substrate perfectly binds moisture, which facilitates the removal of dirt and reduces unpleasant odors. This also translates into economy, because it is enough to remove contaminated litter, but a complete replacement of the substrate is required once every few months. The litter does not irritate the skin and respiratory system, making it ideal for animals with allergies!
